Already Providing Feedback

I have always been a person who provides feedback- good, bad and suggestions for improvement. I actually just sent TSA.gov a compliment on their security agent at the airport as this woman was outstanding in her helpfulness to us, a family with a double stroller and two small children. We are not novice travelers and have never had such a pleasant experience going through security- ever. It was compliment worthy as I am sure they don’t get too many.

Also, now that I have been giving my Kindle a greater workout, I had a bit of feedback got Amazon to help make their Kindle store a bit better (or at least better meet my needs.) Here’s our exchange:

Your Name:Kiirekass
Comments:Hi,
As a Kindle owner and avid periodical reader, I was hoping to use the Kindle to purchase books that I read reviews about in the various periodicals I subscribe too. Unfortunately, it appears that the Kindle store doesn’t carry most of these new books when I read about them and I hate the idea that I have to keep a non-Kindle list separately. Hopefully I am just a novice Kindle store user, but I did not find a way to store book titles I would like to purchase in the future for when they are hopefully available on the Kindle. Netflix has this option for movies- you can store movie titles and they are then added to your queue once available on DVD. Does the Kindle store have this function for books? If not, is it coming?

Greetings from Amazon.com.

Thank you for sending us your comments about storing titles of books that have not been released in Kindle format in a queue for future purchase. This feature is not available at this time, but it is a great idea, and we thank you for suggesting it.

It is very important for us to hear about your experience using Kindle and shopping in the Kindle store. Strong customer feedback like yours helps us continue to improve the service we provide, and we appreciate the time you took to write to us. I’ve passed your feedback along to the Kindle team.

Thank you for your interest in Amazon Kindle.
